The Beszédes Lajos Scout Park serves as the training centre of the Hungarian Scout Association in Slovakia (SZMCS-ZSMN). Its primary aim is to preserve, transmit and develop traditions and values of the Hungarian Scout Movement through the activities held between the walls of the institution. The Leader Training Centre is financed from own resources, tenders, donations and other financial resources and kept up by volunteer work. In the periods between educational activities, in favour of utilizing and sustaining the educational base and due to the duty to help, the Centre welcomes sister Scout Associations, cooperative non-governmental organizations, groups of local governments and institutions, families, pilgrims, hikers who love nature and classes attending Forest School programmes. The place and the building are suitable for holding conferences, vocational and other trainings and organizing friendly meetings with the aim to build relationships.

You can use for free (possibly together with other guests) the kitchen, porch, parking lot and the pillestone garden furniture made from recycled PET bottles and minerals. Apart from special rent, the great hall and the garden pavilion can also be used for free. We provide projection screens and flipcharts to conferences, if required.

Weekdays (from Monday to Thursday): 60 €/1 day (between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.)

Weekends (from Friday to Sunday): 120 €/1 day (between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.), 200 €/weekend (between Friday 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 p.m.)

 

Weekdays (from Monday to Thursday): 100 €/1 day (between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.)

Weekends (from Friday to Sunday): 175 €/1 day (between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.), 300 €/weekend (between Friday 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 p.m.)

 

If accommodation is needed, the basic prices are valid and the rooms opening to the great hall are available. The SZMCS-ZSMN reserves the right to hire the bedrooms not opening to the great hall to other guests who do not belong to the group renting the great hall and are not interested in using the great hall at the same time.

Weekdays 100 €/1 day (between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.). 

Weekends– only if there is no other event taking place in the Castle: 120 €/1 day (between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.), 200 €/weekend (between Friday 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 p.m.).

 

For scouts during MCSSZF2 and SlSk scout events: 25 €/1 day (between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.).   

 

The area and premises shall be put in order until 9:30 a.m. at the latest and handed over to the caretaker.

 

The kiln can be used only under the guidance of the Castle´s staff. The actual price depends on the pre-arranged programme. The price includes the necessary tools, equipment and firewood. Providing food sources is also possible after prior consultation.

 

Camping is possible in the Castle´s courtyard for 10 to 15 people on the campers´ own responsibility in case they do not disturb any activities of the group staying in the building. To judge the matter is the responsibility of the caretaker. Setting up a tent is allowed only in the areas designated by the caretaker. Campers set up their own tents with the help of their own tools. Ditches can not be dug around the tents and other earthmoving works are also forbidden. Tent dwellers can use the common toilets and bathrooms in the building as well as the open-air fireplace next to the kiln, as far as they take into account the needs of other groups staying in the building. 

 

Camping prices: 3 € / 1 person / 1 night (rules relating to the time of arrival and departure are valid as regulated in the building).

 

In the Scout Park, scout troops can organize tent camps. 

 

Hiring the Scout Park for scout troops: 200 € / 1 camp period (maximum 11 days) 

Other groups can rent the area on an individual basis.

 

Possible additional expenses (supplies of firewood, drinking water consumption with water meter, mowing, possible compensation for damages etc.) are on the campers. However, the matter can be managed through the caretaker.

 

Collection of dried twigs and dead wood laying on the ground is allowed but wood-cutting (even of dried trees) without prior consultation is forbidden! Forests surrounding the meadow are not in the possession of the SZMCS-ZSMN, except for a 1-2 m distance from the meadow. 

 

 

 

Reservation cancellation comes into force the day the Operator receives a written notice about the matter. In case of reservation cancellation the amount of deposit repayment depends on the time remaining to the arrival of the guest (including the day when the cancellation was made but not including the day of arrival):

In other cases, no refund of the deposit is possible, which applies also in the case of cancellation 1 to 6 days before the date of the reservation or absence on the day of check-in. If the Operator cancels the accommodation (even on the day of entry before the accommodation is occupied), the deposit will be refunded.

 

At arrival, deposit payment (caution money) shall be paid. It is used only in case of key loss, special cleaning or other compensation for damage. Guests and tenants are repaid the deposit after consistently meeting their obligations. In case the total sum needed for damage compensation is higher than the amount of the deposit, guests and tenants are obligated to reimburse the excess before leaving.

 

The payment is usually received at departure against a receipt titled as "Donation to the Ivánka Castle". If necessary, (pre-)invoice of accommodation fee and rent can be issued. In such a case, please, consult it with the caretaker at booking and provide the personal data needed.

 

Rooms are available during the reserved period from 4:00 p.m. the day of arrival and to 10:00 a.m. the day of departure. Earlier arrival and later departure are also possible according to prior consultation with the caretaker and depending upon availability.

 

The rooms are non-smoking! Smoking is allowed only in the designated area outside the building.

Catering in the building is not provided by the operator. Smaller groups can cook in the kitchenette using their own source materials (with regard to the needs of other groups). Bigger groups can order food from the local inn. After prior consultation, the caretaker can help in the arrangements. 

 

The Beszédes Lajos Leader Training Centre gives an opportunity to organize only such events that are in accordance with the educational goals of the SZMCS-ZSMN. Neither do they support events disturbing the night peace, even if they are not contrary to their educational principles. The SZMCS-ZSMN reserves the right to reject any event with no particular reason, if the Association´s representative reaches to the conclusion that organizing the given event is not in accordance with their educational goals.

 

The building´s 4 accommodation units include 7 rooms available for guests. Every room is furnished with bunk beds. We try to accommodate groups staying in the building at the same time as economically as possible according to the bookings.
